Boat Trips and Hires

Gloucester Waterways Museum offers a great selection of boat trip and hire options on its two boats, King Arthur and Queen Boadicea II.

Trips depart from the dockside at the museum for either the River Severn or the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal.

Boat trips

45-minute boat trips on the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal with historic commentary by the skipper.

Departures
Museum quayside, midday, 1.30pm and 2.30pm
April to October, Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays throughout the period, plus weekdays 1 May to 30 August

Group bookings for boat trips can happen any time - we just need two weeks notice.

Private boat hire

The Queen Boadicea II and King Arthur are available for private hire and provide beautiful floating venues with constantly changing backdrops for celebrations, meetings or special events.

Boats can be on the move or moored up. They are ideal for wedding breakfasts, birthday buffets and anniversary cruises; product launches and corporate hospitality.

With each boat we offer;
